Key: That's what we can do

KENT captain Rob Key could not quite believe his luck in having beaten Sussex inside five sessions to open the county’s LV Championship win account for 2007.

The success, coming as it did just a fortnight after Sussex had rolled Kent over for an eight-wicket win in Hove, was especially sweet for Key after seeing his re-shaped side live up to their potential for the first time in what proved to be a faltering start to the season.

He said: "It was good to bounce back because it's not long before you start hearing a few whispers and people start asking questions about what's going wrong.

"We're only two weeks into the summer but maybe that will keep a couple of people quiet. Now we've really shown what happens when we start to click."
