Kent travel to Trent Bridge in last eight

KENT face a trip to Trent Bridge to take on Nottinghamshire after being drawn against last season's losing finalists in this year's Twentt20 Cup quarter finals.

Spitfires made it through to the knock-out stages for e second season running following Friday night's emphatic six-wicket win over Surrey at a sold-out Oval.

The quarter final ties will be played on Tuesday, July 17 or Wednesday, July 18, with Kent's match scheduled for the Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the county return to action on Sunday with the scheduled start to their LV Championship match with fellow strugglers Worcestershire at soggy New Road.

Andrew Hall, who made his championship debut for the Midlands' county, returns to the Kent side in place of Morne Morkel, and skipper Rob Key is also expected to return after a hamstring strain. The match is scheduled for an 11am start and on-line reports will be available at lunch and the close.
