MARK EALHAM: back in the fray
MARK EALHAM: back in the fray

STRIKE bowler Amjad Kan and former England all-rounder Mark Ealham are making their first pre-season appearances for Kent today as the county take on Surrey in the third of their one-day warm-up games.

David Fulton’s side returned from Hove on Friday evening with an unbeaten record having tied and won their opening two friendlies against Sussex, a run the skipper would like to extend at St Lawrence today.

Khan (ankle) and Ealham (back spasm) missed the trip to the south coast but have been included in the squad for the visit of the reigning Frizzell County Champions.

Kent, batting first in today's 50 over match, reached 41 for two after eight overs. Key (5) and Ed Smith (0) were early casualties both to the bowling of Jimmy Ormond.
