GILLINGHAM manager Ronnie Jepson praised his players after their second half comeback at MK Dons on Saturday.

The three points put the club on the 50-point mark, and although they are not completely safe there will be few talking of relegation from now until May.

Jepson said: "It was a big three points. It was difficult, windy and it was a test of our character.

"At times this season we’ve questioned their character on the pitch at times with some bad results. But since I’ve been in the job the lads’ characters have shone through."
