ADEBAYO AKINFENWA has snubbed Gillingham in favour of League 1 rivals Swindon Town.

The striker left Swansea at the end of the season, after failing to agree terms on a new deal, and Gillingham were one of several clubs to show interest in the 25-year-old.

Akinfenwa has agreed a one year deal at the County Ground, subject to passing a medical.
