Gillingham v Northampton Town

GILLINGHAM boss Ronnie Jepson is looking for his squad to show more belief when they play Northampton at Priestfield on Saturday.

The Gills have lost two of their first three games, including throwing away a two-goal lead at Bradford last weekend, but Jepson said it is too early to start worrying about results.

He said: "I don't think we deserved to lose at Brighton or Bradford but in this game you make your own luck and it's up to our players to show more belief and learn how to close out games.

"But it's still early days. We’ll have a better idea of where we are after 10 or 12 games."
