RONNIE JEPSON is near to completing his first new signings of the summer.

The Gills boss has targeted a number of players to add to his squad for next season and the wait for new recruits should soon be over.

Jepson said: "We've come very close to making a few signings, but it may have to wait until the end of May and we've just got to sit tight."

The club are still waiting on word from the four players that have been offered new deals but Jepson knows Ian Cox, Michael Flynn, Danny Jackman and Danny Spiller will be keeping their options open.
