ANDY HESSENTHALER: likely to return to the side

UP TO three established players could lose their places in Gillingham’s side to take on Coventry at Highfield Road on Saturday as manager Andy Hessenthaler looks to carry out a threat to be more ruthless in his team selection.

The Gills boss, who surprised many by sitting out the start of last Saturday’s shock defeat by Wimbledon, looks almost certain to return to the starting line-up.

Meanwhile, striker Marlon King is still three weeks away from a first team comeback owing to a hamstring problem.

Saturday's match could be the last Gills play at Highfield Road as Coventry are planning to move to a 40,000 capacity stadium on the outskirts of the city in time for the start of next season.
