Matt Haines of Rochester & Cobham Golf Club has been included in the England squad for 2009.
His inclusion in the 15-strong squad, by English Golf Union, comes on the back of his first international cap against France in May, before going on to win the Lytham Trophy.
Tom Sherreard, a member of Chart Hills but based at Georgia University in America, has also been included as an overseas player.
