Mark Goldberg has returned to take charge of Blue Square South Bromley having quit the club for "family reasons" at the turn of the year.

The former Crystal Palace owner agreed to return following a board meeting on Sunday night.

He takes the reins from former Palace and Gillingham midfielder Simon Osborn who succeeded him.

Club secretary Colin Russell confirmed: "Mark agreed to return following Sunday's meeting. But I don't think he ever really left because he was coming to games and even turned up when we played at Bognor.

"He led the club into Blue Square South so I'm sure his return will be welcomed by supporters."
