GUYLAIN NDUMBU-NSUNGU will be given the chance to impress after ending his loan spell at Bradford.

The 25-year-old Congolese striker struck six goals in 18 League 2 games at Valley Parade after joining in the summer on loan.

Gills manager Mark Stimson will get his first look at the striker during training this week and is willing to see what the player has to offer after Bradford decided against extending his loan.

Stimson said: “He’s another forward player who has scored a few goals while he’s been out on loan.

"We’ll have a look at him and see what his attitude and ability is like. He’ll come in and train and he might get involved.”

Ndumbu-Nsungu arrived at Priestfield in 2006 but has only made 16 starts for the club.
