SCORER: Andrew Crofts put Gillingham ahead

Rotherham 1 Gillingham 2

GILLINGHAM are leading League 1 strugglers Rotherham 2-1 at half-time at Millmoor this afternoon.

The home side took the lead after just seven minutes when Martin Woods' cross was headed in from close range by Delroy Facey.

But the game changed on 21 minutes when on loan winger Felix Bastians cut in onto his right foot and sent a superb shot past Neil Cutler from the edge of the box.

And the visitors were ahead less than three minutes later when Andrew Crofts rose highest at the far post to head in Bastians' corner.

Gillingham's top scorer Gary Mulligan was forced off with a thigh injury midway through the half - he was replaced by Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu.

Gillingham: Larrieu, Southall, Chorley, Cox, Jackman, Bentley, Crofts, Flynn, Bastians, Spiller, Mulligan (Ndumbu-Nsungu 28).
Subs Not Used: Johnson, Easton, Tonge, Pugh.
