GILLINGHAM boss Stan Ternent has been forced into a change of goalkeeper for the visit of promotion-chasing Ipswich Town to Priestfield this afternoon.

Steve Banks has failed to recover from the injury he picked up in a collision with defender Chris Hope during the victory against Stoke on Tuesday. Jason Brown comes into replace him.

The rest of the side remains unchanged with on loan duo Jay McEveley and Jonathan Douglas keeping their places in the starting line-up after some impressive performances since joining from Blackburn.

The Gills currently lie 22nd in the Championship table level on 41 points with Coventry and Cardiff.

Gillingham: Brown, Nosworthy, Hope, Ashby, McEveley, Southall, Smith, Flynn, Douglas, Sidibe, Henderson.
