GILLINGHAM could face competition for the signature of a quartet of players who have been offered new terms by the club.

Only four of the 10 out of contract players were offered new deals by manager Ronnie Jepson but he admits he'll have to sit tight and see who decides to sign on the dotted line.

Michael Flynn, Ian Cox, Danny Spiller and Danny Jackman have all been handed fresh deals, while the rest will be looking elsewhere for employment.

Jepson said: "We know they'll be talking and looking at what is elsewhere, and it can be a bit of a nightmare, but for me at the moment it's just a waiting game."
