MK Dons v Gillingham

GILLINGHAM boss Ronnie Jepson believes three more wins from their last seven games will secure the club's League 1 status.

His side travel to struggling MK Dons on Saturday boosted by successive home victories over Brentford and Swansea that have given them fresh hope of avoiding the drop.

But the Gills have picked up just one win away from Priestfield all season and Jepson knows that is a statistic that has dragged them into the relegation battle.

He said: "If we get three wins then maybe we’ll be all right. But there are so many permutations and twists and turns to come."

On the club's dismal record on the road, Jepson added: "The more it builds up when you fail to win away, the more of a mental thing it becomes."
