The Kent County Football League has signed a three-year deal with sportswear suppliers Vandanel Sport Ltd.

The league, known for many years as the British Energy Kent County league, will now be known as the Vandanel Kent County League. The deal is worth over £40,000.

Kent County League chairman Cyril Windiate said: “We are delighted to be involved with Vandanel. The agreement will benefit all of our 93 teams and also enable us to continue rewarding teams with the best disciplinary records in our seven divisions.

“We look forward with great optimism and confidence to building on this partnership and working with Vandanel into the future.”

Vandanel business development manager Jerry Carter said: “We are already official kit supplier to Gillingham Football Club, and to become title sponsors of the Kent County Football League further endorses our commitment to non-league football.

“The deal with the league, with its seven divisions and over 90 teams, compliments our involvement with other clubs in the South East.”
