DAISH: says Hastings will give his side more options up front

EBBSFLEET United boss Liam Daish has bolstered his attacking options after signing MK Dons striker John Hastings on a month’s loan.

After a prolific spell with Tooting & Mitcham, Hastings was signed for the Dons by Martin Allen in July 2006, and spent time on loan in the Blue Square Premier last season with St Albans.

Daish said: "People may be surprised that we have brought in a forward after scoring five on Saturday but this loan was arranged before the Kidderminster game.

"When John became available we needed to move swiftly because there were other clubs keen to sign him. I am delighted that he has chosen to come to Stonebridge Road.

"He will give us more options up front where we are still a little bit light."
