Northwich 2 Ebbsfleet 0

Ebbsfleet succumbed to a resurgent Northwich at the Victoria Stadium in Blue Square Premier on Thursday.

The home side are already relegated but dominated throughout to record their fifth-straight victory and deny Fleet a third win on the trot.

Northwich should have been in front before Aaron Burns opening the scoring with a fine finish from the edge of the box on the hour.

The points were sealed seven minutes from time when John Allan headed Lee Elam's cross past Lance Cronin from close range.

Ebbsfleet complete their season against Salisbury at Stonebridge Road on Sunday. Depending on other results, a win could see Liam Daish's side finish in 12th.
