NEITHER side has managed to find a breathrough in the opening 45 minutes at Priestfield this afternoon.

The best chances came early on. The first fell to the home side after nine minutes when Tommy Black latched on to Andrew Crofts's fine pass and forced a good save from Willy Gueret.

But Swansea could have been ahead barely a minute later but Jason Brown was equal to Lee Trundle's effort from the edge of the area.

The visitors went close again in the 17th minute but Kristian O'Leary shot too high.

Gillingham: Brown, Wallis, Cox, Sancho, Jackman, Black, Crofts, Pouton, Jarvis, Mulligan, Byfield.
Subs: Crichton, Cochrane, Spiller, Flynn, Harris.
