FIRST SQUAD: Leon Solomon
FIRST SQUAD: Leon Solomon

WELLING defender Leon Solomon has been selected for the England National Game squad for their game against Finland Under-21s on Friday.

It is a first call-up for Solomon, who has been at Welling for two years following his release by Gillingham.

Ebbsfleet United keeper Lance Cronin is also in the squad having played in the Four National Tournament earlier this month.

Solomon is out of contract at Park View Road but has been offered a new deal by Wings boss Neil Smith.

He has been linked with Leauge 2 Barnet, who are ironically managed by the England National game manager Paul Fairclough.
