More than 30,000 MyFootballClub members will decide the future of Ebbsfleet striker John Akinde.

Members have been given 48 hours to decide whether they should accept a £140,000 offer from an unnamed Football League club for the highly rated 19-year-old.

Akinde has scored 10 goals in 19 games for the Blue Square Premier side.

The Fleet turned down a £100,000 offer from League 1 side Peterborough last month.

Manager Liam Daish and the board have recommended the striker should be sold to allow him to play at a higher level.

The club could also receive further payments depending on performance plus a significant percentage of any sell-on should Akinde be transferred to another club.
