INVICTA Dynamos swept to a comfortable 10-2 victory against Romford Spitfires in the English Ice Hockey League Cup at the Gillingham Ice Bowl on Sunday night.

The Dynamos attacked the Spitfires straight from the face-off and raced into a three-goal lead.

Kev Lake (1:56), Joe Allen (4:16) and Alex Shaw (14:44) were on target for the Dynamos with Matt Turner (17:08) responding for Romford before the first break.

Ben Osbourne (22:42) got another goal back for the visitors, before Karl Lennon (22:56), Andy Smith (23:25) and James Fraser (33:37) gave the Dynamos a 6-2 advantage going into the last period.

The Mos then fired in four unanswered goals with Lake (43:20) and Allen (51:47) both getting their second, while Jamie Smith grabbed the other two (42:19 and 45:50).
