Dan Seagrove-Castle is making a name for himself in the world of Biathlon

Walmer Science College pupil Dan Seagrove-Castle will compete in the British Schools Biathlon Championships after winning the South East region Year 10 event in Sevenoaks.

Seagrove-Castle won the 100m freestyle swimming event in 56.71seconds and finished second in the 1,000m run in 3.06.12.

He also received a medal for best swim at the meeting.

As well as the British Championships, which take place at Bath in March, Seagrove-Castle has also been invited to compete at an invitational biathlon in next August’s World Championships to be held at Crystal Palace.
