CHARLTON manager Alan Curbishley doesn't see himself making a quick return to football management.

The club revealed his decision not to renew his contract before the game against Blackburn at The Valley.

He leaves the Addicks after 15 years at the club, 11 of which have been in sole charge. During his time at the club, Charlton have firmly established themselves in the top flight.

Curbishley has already been linked with several Premiership clubs, including Newcastle and Middlesbrough, but he says he needs a break after 30 years in the game.

He told the Daily Express: "I can't see myself being at another club come August."
