Andrew Crofts became Gillingham’s most capped player following his appearance for Wales in Sunday’s friendly defeat to Holland.

Crofts picked up his 12th cap after appearing as a second-half substitute in the 2-0 defeat to the Dutch in Rotterdam.

The Gills captain played the final 15 minutes of the match after replacing Hull City’s Sam Ricketts.

The previous record had been held by Ian Cox, who made 11 appearances for Trinidad & Tobago, during his time at the club.
