Shepherd Neame Kent Cricket League Premier Division wrap

Fabian Cowdrey scored an unbeaten 155 as Sevenoaks Vine retained their five-point lead at the top of the Shepherd Neame Kent Cricket League Premier Division after a 203-run win at Bickley Park on Saturday.

The Kent all-rounder shared a 241-run second-wicket partnership with opener John Bowden (127) as Vine posted a massive 350-3 from their 50 overs.

Bottom side Bickley Park could only manage 147 in reply which saw Nick Sale (4-30) take an unusual hat-trick off two balls. His first victim was stumped off a wide.

Second-placed Blackheath beat Bromley by seven wickets.

Bromley were dismissed for 209 following contributions from opener Richard Selvey-Clinton (42), Miguel Barbosa (50) and Dominic Reed (70).

James Hands captured 4-36 while Warren Lee took 3-44, which included a hat-trick.

Tanweer Sikander hit an unbeaten 100 to see Blackheath reach 212-3 in the 42nd over.

Defending champions Hartley are third after beating Canterbury by 186 runs.

Dan Stickels and Shane Deitz both made 97 as Hartley made 350-8 before dismissing the visitors for 164.

Charles Hartley top-scored with 46 while James Hockley (4-18) was the pick of the bowlers.

Fourth-placed Lordswood beat Bexley by 34 runs after defending 274.

Matt Greenwood (71) and Palash Joshi (53) led the way for Lordswood. Adeel Malik took 4-33.

Malik also played a leading role with the bat, top scoring with 48, before his side was dismissed for 240.

Former England wicketkeeper Geraint Jones helped Sandwich move out of the bottom two after the Kent representative starred with the bat in the five-wicket win against Beckenham.

Beckenham made 231-9 before Jones scored an unbeaten 85 as Sandwich replied with 232-5. Young Aussie opener Marnus Labuschange made 69.
