County sides handed favourable FA Cup draws

Kent clubs enjoyed largely favourable draws in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The draw, which was made at Monday lunchtime, has given seven Kent teams home advantage as they bid to move a step closer to the first round proper.

Blue Square South Welling will host Whyteleafe, who overcame Horsham YMCA in a replay while Bromley entertain Ryman League Premier Division AFC Hornchurch.

Folkestone's reward for seeing off Ramsgate is a home tie with Horsham while Dover will be expected to win their home game against Needham Market.

Maidstone also have a home tie but face stiff opposition in higher-league Fisher. Dartford also entertain a team above them in the pyramid with Hampton & Richmond visiting Princes Park.

Thamesmead have a trip to Merstham, Erith & Belvedere will host Godalming Town while VCD travel to East Thurrock as their reward for seeing off Hythe in a midweek replay.

The ties are due to take place on September 27.
