BROMLEY crashed to a disappointing defeat in their derby against mid-table Fisher.

The Lillywhites, high on confidence following their 8-1 Boxing Day thrashing of Thurrock, failed to capitalise on early possession and trailed to a first half goal from Wesley Thomas.

The visitors had their best spell of the game early in the second period and eventually doubled their lead through Jeff Goulding.

Bromley hit back with a well worked goal from Danny Hockton near the end, but it was too little too late.

Player-coach Bobby Bowry said: "It was a case of after the Lord Mayor’s Show. We started well but they were fitter than us, as you would expect from a side that trains four days a week."
