MARGATE have received a boost regarding their problems over a return to Hartsdown Park.

Following a Conference Board meeting, chief executive John Moules has contacted Gate's chairman, Jim Parmenter, to offer his help and support to the Thanet club.

As Margate have an approved ground share at Dover until December, the Board has announced it does not have to intervene at this point and for the moment its business as usual for the club.

Mr Parmenter commented: “I am grateful for the offer of support and we have to work hard between now and December with the council to put plans in place that the Conference will be able to support”.
