MATT BODKIN: arm will be in plaster for a week

WELLING manager Adrian Pennock has been dealt a major blow after wideman Matt Bodkin broke his arm against Folkestone last Saturday.

Bodkin picked up the injury during the pre-season game but it was not diagnosed until after the weekend as the Wings player was still in some discomfort. His arm will now be in plaster for a week.

Pennock said: "It's a blow for us but it's something that we'll have to deal with.

"Matt didn't realise the extent of the injury at the time but he'll be in plaster for a week now and we'll know more about it after that."
