Black inspires Mos to stylish win

Invicta Dynamos 9 Romford Spitfires 1

INVICTA Dynamos continued to round their season off in style with a comfortable 9-1 win over Romford Spitfires on Sunday.

In the last home game of the English National Ice Hockey League season, the Dynamos surged into a three goal lead in the first period, with strikes from Kev Lake, Jordy Black and Andy Smith.

The prolific Black then added another couple, before Peter Carey and Lake took the score to seven by the end of the second.

In the final period Black struck his fourth, and James Fraser also got on the scoresheet, while there was a consolation goal for the Spitfires.

The Dynamos had wrapped up the league title - their fourth in a row - with a victory the previous week at Streatham Redskins.

They conclude their league season this Saturday at Swindon Wildcats, and will take on Oxford City Stars in a play-off on Sunday.
