Andy Barcham has agreed to extend his loan spell with Gillingham for a further month.

The Tottenham forward, who has been with the club for the last two months, will now be available for Gillingham’s next five games with his deal expiring on Boxing Day.

Barcham has recently been absent with a head injury. He has played 11 games for the Gills and has predominantly been used as a left winger by manager Mark Stimson.

“Its great he wants to stay for another month and we’ll enjoy him,” said Stimson.

“He’s been a bundle of energy since he’s been here and occasionally he gets the ball in the goal. He’s a very good team player.”
