Mark Stimson: "At the moment the squad is bare"

Exeter v Gillingham

Gillingham manager Mark Stimson will be without four first-team players for his side’s League 2 clash at Exeter on Saturday.

Adam Miller’s back injury is worse than first thought while forwards Dennis Oli (foot) and Gary Mulligan (knee) are still sidelined. Mark McCammon misses out through suspension following his dismissal at Aldershot.

"At the moment the squad is bare," said Stimson.

Despite having a depleted squad, Stimson is confident his team have what it takes to beat Exeter.

He added: "We're quite fortunate that the starting 11 have been fit for a period of time and their fitness levels are great.

"The team I've got in my mind are all capable of running for 100 minutes, let alone 90. We'd just like some of the injured players back to make the squad a bit healthier."
