Armour to top the bill at York Hall

CHATHAM boxer Johnny Armour will be top of the bill when he defends his WBU Bantamweight title against Francis Ampofo on February 16. The venue has now been confirmed as Bethnal Green's York Hall and the clash will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Both fighters are sure to have a huge following and a packed house is almost a guarantee. Armour is in Liverpool as he prepares for his rematch with Ampofo, the man he beat to take the title over a year ago.

Ampofo, nicknamed the Pocket Battleship, lives in Bethnal green and was at ringside when Armour easily out-pointed Ian Turner in December. He knows he will have to be at his absolute best if he is to take the belt that Armour cherishes so much.
