Tonbridge Angels 0 St Albans 0

Tonbridge Angels face an FA Trophy first round replay on Monday after failing to break down 10-man St Albans at Longmead on Saturday.

Saints, who put Angels out of this season's FA Cup, had Richard Graham sent off inside five minutes for following through on Henry Muggeridge.

Like Angels at Eastleigh following David Ijaha's early red card last weekend, the visitors were well organised and made themselves difficult to break down.

Shamir Goodwin looked most likely to break the deadlock for Angels, denied by smart saves from veteran keeper Paul Bastock either side of half-time.

Angels continued to force the issue with Sonny Miles' effort from a Lee Browning free-kick cleared off the line and he also had a header tipped over by Bastock.

Tonbridge were almost caught out when St Albans broke through midfield deep into injury-time but John Heath's well-timed challenge thwarted Greg Ngoyi.
