CHARLTON must travel to Middlesbrough in three weeks to replay the FA Cup quarter-final after a stalemate at The Valley on Thursday.

In the last of the week's four ties neither side seriously threatened in a game of few chances.

Boro keeper Mark Schwarzer made two first half saves to deny Hermann Hreidarsson and Darren Bent might have done better when he shot well over with the Boro keeper limping back to his goal.

James Morrison had the best chance for the visitors, but Thomas Myhre was able to turn his scuffed second half effort round the post.

Charlton: Myhre, Young, Perry, Hreidarsson, Powell, Kishishev (Rommedahl 62), Holland, Hughes, Thomas, Bartlett (Bothroyd 76), D Bent.
Subs Not Used: Andersen, Spector, Euell.
Attendance: 24,187.
