Academy for budding basketball players

KENT Crusaders are launching a basketball academy later this year aimed at enticing young players to improve their game.

The academy, which will be based at the Canterbury High School from September, hopes to attract 16-year-olds from across Kent and the South East who want to pursue elite basketball.

Canterbury High School already run academies in a number of sports including rugby, athletics and tennis and are joining forces with Crusaders to promote this, their first basketball academy.

Their will be an open evening for prospective sixth form students interested in the basketball academy on Tuesday, March 6.
