Your views wanted on Riverside Country Park plan

Have your say on plans to improve a play area in Lower Rainham.

Riverside Country Park has been awarded £112,000 by the Big Lottery Fund to improve it’s children’s area.

Groundwork Kent and Medway was asked to produce designs with a natural play theme, to include mounds, boulders, willow structures and tree trunks, to complement and enhance the woodland setting.

Groundwork held a series of workshops, inviting young people to submit their own ideas.

The final design is now on display at Riverside Country Park Visitor Centre.

Cllr Howard Doe, portfolio holder for community services said: “We want to ensure the new and improved play areas meet residents’ requirements, which is why we are asking for as much feedback to these proposals to help shape the parks’ future design.”

The design is on display until Monday or alternatively it can be viewed on the Groundwork website www.groundwork-km.org.uk
