Woman suffers black eye after unprovoked attack in somerset Road, Ashford

Police are appealing for witnesses to an unprovoked attack which happened in Ashford in the early hours of last Sunday morning.

A 20-year-old woman ended up with a black eye after being punched to the ground in Somerset Road, near the Shell petrol station.

The young woman had just parked her car at 2.30am and was getting her coat from the car boot when she was approached by three men who asked for directions.

The men were verbally abusive and one punched her.
