Woman has bag snatched in street

A WOMAN was pushed from behind before having her handbag snatched by a man in Kent.

The victim was walking in Station Road, Staplehurst, opposite the alleyway that leads into Corner Farm Road, when the theft happened.

After pushing her and taking the bag, the man ran across the road and into the alleyway.

He is described as white, aged between 22 and 28, around 5ft 9in tall, of medium build with light-brown, shoulder-length hair. He was wearing a black leather jacket.
