A woman is due to appear in court today charged with the murder of a man whose body was found in a motorhome in a Canterbury car park last week.

Julie Barron, 44, of no fixed address, is alleged to have murdered 43-year-old John McDaid between June 27 and 28.

He died in his motorhome, in which he lived and travelled around Kent, but which was parked in the New Dover Road park and ride at the time of his death.

Barron is due before Dover Magistrates' Court this morning where she is expected to be remanded in custody.
