Woman arrested in hacking scandal probe

A Kent woman has been arrested in connection with an investigation into inappropriate payments to police and public officials.

The 50-year-old was arrested this morning on suspicion of corruption and conspiracy to commit bribery.

She was arrested at a 'non-residential location', at the same time as two others. All three are being question in separate London stations.

Operation Elveden is being run in connection with the phone-hacking scandal - so far 38 people have been arrested.
