POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of a pay and display parking meter in a north Kent town.

The machine was taken from Park Road Car Park, Park Road in Swanley sometime between Friday, January 11, and Monday, January 14.

The meter would have contained a small amount of cash but it is not known how much.
