Weird world of Sam Wills

Something a bit different comes to the Canterbury Festival with New Zealand stand-up Sam Wills’ show The Boy with Tape on his Face.

The runaway hit of last year’s Edinburgh Fringe, scooping myriad five star reviews and an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination for best newcomer, the show blends stand-up comedy, mime, vaudeville and puppetry.

The Boy with Tape on his Face opens up a world of singing shoes, mischievous dustbins and willing audience participation, offering an antithesis to the more loquacious comedians on the circuit.

The show is at St Mary’s Studio Theatre, Canterbury, on Tuesday, October 18, and Wednesday, October 19. Tickets £12. Box office 01227 787787.
