Kent reacts: Amber Rudd leaves government

Kent MP Damian Green has said Amber Rudd was left with no option but to fall on her sword.

She stood down last night, in the wake of the Windrush scandal. It has been announced Sajid Javid will take her place.

This is what shoppers in Chatham said when asked if she was right to resign.
