THE public's help is being urgently sought to find a vulnerable 72-year-old man who has gone missing from his care home.

Leonard Sinn left the property at Beach Avenue, Birchington, between 8.45am and 9.45am this morning.

Police say they are extremely concerned for his welfare because of his age, the weather conditions and due to him needing medication.

He was wearing a light brown jumper with a pattern on the front and a shirt underneath with the collar out, dark trousers and brown vinyl slippers. He is not believed to be wearing a jacket.

Mr Sinn is clean-shaven and has a small amount of white hair. He also wears glasses.

Kent Search and Rescue are also joining police officers in the hunt for the man.
