CCTV footage is being studied by officers investigating the murder of 51-year-old father, Danny King.

Mr King was shot four times at his home in Ditton in the early hours of Friday, October 17.

Officers working in an incident room set up after the murder are reviewing CCTV footage from the area which they believe holds vital information.

A police spokesman said detectives were keeping an open mind as to the motive behind Mr King’s murder.

Det ch insp Bumpus added: "We are following a number of lines of enquiry and are grateful to all who have contacted us, however we continue to appeal to anyone who may have information to speak to officers in the incident room or contact Kent Crimestoppers.

"The family is devastated at their loss and continue to grieve. We ask that anyone who has information thinks of the pain and the terrible ordeal they are going through and to contact us immediately."
