Constant attacks from the Taliban have challenged Kent soliders
as frontlines are pushed forward in Afghanistan.

In November last year the area of British forces control was
increased as part of Operation Mar Nonu 1 and 2.

Soldiers from the First Battalion of the Princess of Wales’
Royal Regiment (PWRR) and the Second Battalion of the Royal Gurkha
Rifles have maintained the area despite the constant attacks.

Patrol Base Minden is protected by troops from B Company of
1PWRR.

Multimedia reporter Chris Price spent three days with soldiers
from the regiment, also known as The Tigers.
