Van driver dies after A2 crash at Barham

The van driver involved in a crash with a car on the A2 near Barham has died.

The man, who was 52 and from Dover, was taken to a London Hospital where he died yesterday.

The smash happened on Monday on the coastbound Adisham A2 slip-road at the junction with the B2046.

The white transit van he was driving collided with a black Hyundai Jetz driven by a woman in her 30s, from Folkestone. She was also taken to a London hospital with serious injuries.

DS Scott Lynch said: “I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this collision or may have seen the vehicles prior to the incident.”
