POLICE have issued an urgent appeal after an 87-year-old man was reported missing from his home this morning.

Mr Fritz Langer was last seen in the early hours of this morning at his home in London Road, Greenhithe, by members of his family and he was then reported missing at 9.20am.

Mr Langer is thought to have disappeared without any clothing suitable for the current cold weather. He also has angina and Alzheimers.

Mr Langer is described as white, 5ft 11in tall, clean shaven with a cut on his forehead. He has two moles on his right cheek and may have been wearing reading glasses.

He was wearing a white long sleeved, spotted sweater, black trousers and black slip on shoes.
